1 Count of Peney 2018

Comte de Peney is the result of over twenty years of research by Domaine des Balisiers to acclimatize Cabernet grapes originating from Bordeaux to the Swiss climate and terroir. It is composed of two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon and one-third Cabernet Franc. The finest vintages can age for twenty years or more. Aged for eighteen to twenty-four months in clay amphorae and then in barrels, Comte de Peney offers an incomparable range of aromas and remarkable complexity.

1 Dame Noire 2022

La Dame Noire is a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir. Aging in oak barrels had been virtually abandoned in Swiss vineyards during the Second World War due to a lack of imported oak. In 1985, Domaine des Balisiers was one of the first to revive this traditional winemaking practice in Switzerland by creating La Dame Noire, aged for 12 months in barrels.

1 Pinot Blanc 2023

Pinot Blanc is a grape variety originally planted in Alsace and along the banks of the Rhine. It was later introduced to Switzerland in the 1970s. Our Pinot Blanc offers a beautiful balance between minerality and white-fleshed fruit, and comes from the left bank, from Perly and Château de Sierne.
